Welcome
Dear Colleagues,
It is my great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 9th Asian Congress of Agricultural Medicine and Rural Health which will be held in Gyeongju-si, Korea in October 17-19, 2002.
The theme of the Congress is "Working Together for Health Promotion in Rural Communities." This international congress will provide you with good opportunities to learn more about this issue, to discuss advances in rural health science, to exchange new ideas and valuable insights, and to highlight deficiencies in our knowledge which we urgently need to address.
Internationally recognized experts in agricultural medicine and rural health will share their knowledge and experience through plenary sessions. In addition to a strong scientific program the Congress will feature more than 100 papers, an exhibition, and an exciting social program.
Your active participation in the exchange of ideas, information and experience and in networking with people from different countries and disciplines will enrich your knowledge and personal human resource in the field of agricultural medicine and rural health.
Please join us in Gyeongju-si in October 2002. Gyeongju-si is known as one of the most historic and beautiful cities in the world, with much to offer Congress participants and their partners.
I look forward to seeing you in Gyeongju-si.
